Before the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships come to Saalbach in February 2025, the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn is looking forward to welcoming the best ski racers in the world to the World Cup Finals of the 2023/24 season. This is when the last sporting decisions will be made in the overall World Cup and the individual discipline rankings for both women and men. Traditionally, only the 25 best athletes in the respective discipline rankings and all skiers with over 500 points in the overall rankings are eligible to compete in the season finale. In addition, the reigning junior world champions are also allowed to present themselves on the big stage of skiing at the final.

This gives the athletes the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the World Cup slopes on the Zwölferkogel and to ski at race pace for the first time. The World Cup Finals should also provide the World Cup organisation team with important insights into the infrastructure, mobility concept and sports logistics, as World Championship medals will once again be awarded in Salzburger Land just eleven months later.

Arrival by Ski

In addition, public skiing will be possible throughout the events. Ski fans from Salzburger Land and Tyrol will be able to travel directly to the slopes on skis. Thanks to the range and state-of-the-art infrastructure of the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, guests and locals can access the ski area from Fieberbrunn or Leogang and ski directly to the races on the Zwölferkogel without having to search for a car park.
