Next week Saalbach will not only catch up on the cancelled giant slalom from Sölden, but also - as decided by the ÖSV, ORF and Saalbach today - the slalom of Val d'Isere.

Press release 1398 CharactersPlain text

It was a last minute decision: Saalbach is about to take over the slalom which was cancelled in Val d’Isere on 20 December. Due to heavy snowfalls during the last couple of days and the running preparations for the giant slalom taken over from Sölden the Austrian Ski Federation (ÖSV), ORF and Saalbach agreed on also hosting a slalom.

Thus the giant slalom will be held on 19 December and the slalom on 20 December.

The European Cup races scheduled for 21 and 22 December are postponed to 7 and 8 February.
