The Schattberg summit returns as a special BERGFESTival venue: celebrations high above Saalbach first welcomed winter here at the first edition in 2013. On Saturday, 5 December 2026, Swiss band Hecht and DJs Evil Jared x Krogi will pair the mountain panorama with infectious beats. BERGFESTival 2026 spans six venues in total. The main stage remains in the centre of Saalbach, while rustic mountain huts, vibrant clubs and the panoramic summit venue on the Schattberg offer diverse settings for concerts and parties to kick off the ski season.

Royal Republic and Hecht complete the international line-up
For the first time, BERGFESTival 2026 kicks off as early as Thursday, with TEXTA and the Rebel Musig Crew performing on the main stage in Saalbach. Friday’s headliners are Roy Bianco & Die Abbrunzati Boys. Their exuberant Italo-schlager meets the bavarian dialect hip-hop of Dicht & Ergreifend, while Zebrahead and Punk Rock Factory bring international punk rock to the programme. Taking the energy from the concerts into the late-night parties are DJs Evil Jared x Krogi, Arnim Teutoburg-Weiss & DJ Dennis Concorde, DJ Olde (Big FM) and the Ill-Rock-City DJ-Team.

On Saturday, Swedish rock band Royal Republic takes over the main stage. Following their spectacular alternative rock show, LaBrassBanda takes over with rousing trumpet sounds and lyrics in Bavarian dialect. Also newly confirmed for Saturday is Hecht: the Swiss band combines pop-rock in Swiss German with an electrifying show on the Schattberg. Later, DJ Danny Donner, MC Blitz Beat and Pinzgau rapper ¥ang $chnittlauch keep the festival atmosphere going late into the night.

Straight from the slopes to the concert
BERGFESTival in Saalbach combines the start of the ski season with a distinctive festival atmosphere. Days are spent exploring the slopes of the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn together, before singing along to favourite songs at the stages and celebrating the arrival of winter in the clubs.

Daily programme confirmed – limited day tickets available
With the full line-up announced, the allocation of acts across the three festival days is now confirmed. A limited number of day tickets allows visitors to choose individual days. Those looking to experience the entire weekend can secure a three-day festival pass.
