Just a few days left until the legendary bike event kicks off
The countdown is on: From July 9 to 13, 2025, Saalbach Hinterglemm will once again transform into the hotspot of the international mountain biking scene. The legendary GlemmRide Bike Festival returns for its ninth edition, offering mountain biking, live concerts, racing action, spectacular Masters of Dirt Big Air shows, meet & greets, group rides, and workshops with some of the biggest stars in the scene—plus a huge expo area and endless parties.
The GlemmRide Bike Festival kicks off in a relaxed fashion on Wednesday, July 9, with the GlemmRide Mountain Trial Shows featuring Fabian Dankl. After that, it’s off to the Après Bike Session at Bergstadl. The motto for the first day: arrive, unpack your bike, and explore Austria’s Largest Bike Region!
On Thursday, July 10, the massive Expo Area opens, where some of the biggest bike brands will showcase their products and bikes—ready for test rides across the vast trail network of Austria’s biggest bike region. The Masters of Dirt will also begin their warm-up session for the spectacular Big Air Shows on Thursday. If you’ve still got energy and motivation in the evening, you’ll be welcomed in true style at the legendary Welcome Party at Castello in Saalbach, featuring Riddim Syndicate after a show by Acöustic Frönt on the main stage.
Friday, July 11, brings even more mountain bike and festival action in the Salzburg region. From various ride-outs with the pros to signing sessions with biking stars and the legendary LINES Bike Pulling, there’s something for everyone. The absolute highlight of the day will no doubt be the first of two Masters of Dirt Big Air Shows. Afterwards, LEMO will get the crowd moving on the main stage, and for those who want to keep partying, the GlemmRide Clubbing at Castello is the place to be.
On Saturday, July 12, international stars of the mountain bike scene will once again gather for the Masters of Dirt Show to perform their best tricks on the Big Air track. In addition to the PROPAIN Rookies Cup and Downhill Seeding Run, the festival area will host various ride-outs, challenges, and a pumptrack session. A highlight for young and old alike will surely be the second signing session with Fabio Wibmer. The day ends with FRITTENBUDE live on the main stage and the GlemmRide Riders Party featuring the Masters of Dirt at Castello.
Sunday, July 13, is the last chance to admire the newest bikes, components, and products in the Expo Area—or take them straight to the trails for a test ride. Also on the schedule is the spectacular Downhill Final of the PROPAIN Rookies Cup, followed by the awards ceremony.
Public transport to GlemmRide? Easy!
With the GlemmRide Bike Shuttle, it’s a smooth ride from Maishofen train station to Hinterglemm and back—with your bike, of course. From July 9 to 13, 2025, a special schedule by Salzburg Verkehr will be in effect. Dedicated buses with bike trailers will run every hour.
