Planned opening November 29 // News
For those who are not already familiar with the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, the first thing you will grin about is the long name. However, just as long as the name is are the list of opportunities in the coolest ski region of the Alps. The region, which covers two Austrian states, not only combines 270 kilometres of piste, 70 modern lifts and 60 cosy, stylish huts but also has a special feeling: The spirit of the Home of Lässig – or in other words: the pure feeling of happiness! This feeling is what fun-loving families, sporty Alpine skiers and freeriders will all find here.
How do you define this feeling of happiness? For some, it is the caring attitude and warmth that is experienced from the hotel to the ski school – for others, it is the perfection of the prepared pistes and the modern lifts. Or is it the deep virgin snow and the “face shots” that bring a smile to your face? The Home of Lässig is all about joie de vivre, cosiness, and variety, for a diversified and unique experience, that will live forever in your memory.
What is your personal feeling of happiness?
Planned opening November 29 2024!
New in Winter 2024/25
F1 + F2 Streuböden in Fieberbrunn
HELLO! The old one is leaving. The new one is coming.
The Fieberbrunn cable car to the Lärchfilzkogel got a new model in summer 2024: a single-cable gondola lift, 10-seater, non-stop to the top, panoramic windows, more modern, faster, more comfortable and with a sleek red. With the new Streuböden cable car, long queuing times, standing gondolas and changing cable cars at the middle station are a thing of the past. A milestone for Fieberbrunn, a new lift highlight for the Home of Lässig!

F6 Zillstattlift in Fieberbrunn
The Zillstatt T-bar lift at the Streuböden middle station in Fieberbrunn will also be completely renovated for the coming winter season: a slight shortening of the lift in the valley station area will enable a level approach area and therefore easier access. The new stepless drive will help children and beginners in particular to learn to use the drag lift more easily. The lift staff can also look forward to a significant improvement in their workplace with the new spacious station buildings.
B4 12er NORD and Ski bridge in Hinterglemm
The new construction of the 12er NORD promises an absolute improvement in comfort. The existing lift with stand-up gondolas from 1989 will be replaced by a 10-seater monocable gondola lift - identical in construction to the 12-seater KOGEL lift. The valley station is moving into the valley and a new ski bridge over the main road will provide convenient and safe access directly to the two stations of the Hochalmbahn and 12er NORD. The ascent is rapid with a transport capacity of 2,600 people per hour. Once you reach the top, you have a difficult decision to make - continue on the Skicircus circuit or take the 12er Nord downhill run into the valley?

Comfort improvement I1+I2 Schönleitenbahn in Saalbach
Over the summer months, the Schönleitenbahn team and the cable car manufacturer were able to implement an improvement in comfort. By increasing the travel speed to 6.2 m/s, adding 7 cabins and improving the processes, there will be a significant increase in transport capacity from the coming winter season, which will lead to a considerable reduction in waiting times.
New SkiMovie course and funslopes in Leogang
The new SkiMovie run on the Asitz clearly shows who has the fastest skis under their feet. The Fishermen's Friend SkiMovie can be found at the L5 Asitzgipfelbahn 8er at the turn-off from piste 215 near the NITRO Snowpark. Action enthusiasts can look forward to a brand new Flunslope and Funcross course from January.
FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Saalbach 2025 - February 4 to 16 2025
The FIS Alpine World Ski Championships from 4 to 16 February 2025 will be an international celebration of skiing in Saalbach. Together we will ignite great enthusiasm - as we did at the Sun World Championships in 1991 - and create lasting momentum for winter sports in Salzburger Land.
One mountain – all competitions
The concept ‘One mountain - all competitions’ takes centre stage. All races will take place on the Zwölferkogel. The World Championships pistes for all disciplines will lead to a finish area - the Hexenkessel, which can accommodate 15,000 enthusiastic fans. The varied side programme will turn the newly designed village street into the epicentre of the World Championship events.
100% ski operation during the World Champs
Thanks to the ultra-modern infrastructure of the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, ski fans from all parts of the ski area can reach the races directly and easily on skis, as skiing operations are 100% open even during the World Ski Championships.
Sustainability
The FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2025 in Saalbach aim to be a green benchmark for future sporting events. The sustainability goals are to be achieved with short distances, good accessibility of all "event hotspots" on foot, all competitions on one mountain and a modern mountain railway and piste infrastructure. Furthermore, optimal travel options by public transport are planned and also the possible sporty journey on skis to the races in Salzburger Land - with free entry along the race course - is unique and corresponds to a green event. REDUCE, RE-USE and RECYCLE are keywords for the entire structural measures.
