In good weather, the Saalbach Hinterglemm traditional brass band will present a varied summer concert on four dates. From marches and waltzes to oldies and modern pieces – listen to the special sounds from 8:30 p.m. at Montelino’s Adventure Alm in Hinterglemm. Free entry!
Hinterglemm Gasslfest

Let’s celebrate summer and life together! The popular Hinterglemm Gasslfest ensures special evenings in the village every week until mid-September. Hinterglemm Dorfstraße is transformed into a cosy street market with regional products, culinary specialities and live music throughout the entire area. Local exhibitors present original handicraft and gourmet products. For children, there is a bouncy castle as well as creative workshops. Admission is free on all event days.
GLEMMRIDE Bike Festival

10 years of 100% bike action: the GlemmRide Bike Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2026 and brings the international mountain bike scene to Saalbach Hinterglemm for four days. Get ready for the spectacular Masters of Dirt Big Air Shows, downhill races, workshops, pump track sessions, bike yoga and “Ride with the Pros” sessions. More than 50 exhibitors will present the latest equipment for testing in the Expo Area, while DJ sets and live acts such as The Subways create a festival atmosphere. Saalbach athlete Fabio Wibmer will also be on site and is looking forward to the local bike community. Admission to the festival is free on all four days!
Workouts at the mountain lake, bike workshops & guided hikes

Away from the major events, Saalbach Hinterglemm also offers a varied summer programme that lets you experience nature and exercise in the mountains in a very special way. In the Bergglitzern programme, women experience the Glemmtal mountains together through varied activities such as panoramic hikes, mountain yoga, forest bathing, water experiences or “Hike & Swim” with a refreshing dip in the mountain lake. Those who do not want to discover the region on their own can take part in up to ten guided hikes per week from May to October – accompanied by state-certified hiking guides who share interesting facts about nature, landscape, people and animals. Also new to the programme is the “Workout at the Mountain Lake” at the Hochalm: every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., training takes place directly at the Hochalm mountain lake under professional guidance – with Functional Fitness, CrossFit or HYBRID elements, suitable for every fitness level. The best part: many highlights of the summer programme and the rides with the mountain lifts are already included with the JOKER CARD.
OKIDOKI ON TOUR - Big Children’s Festival at the Hochalm

The event format “OKIDOKI on Tour”, popular throughout Austria, offers children movement & fun all day long. On 24 July, it stops at the Hochalm in Hinterglemm. From funny games, a zoo, to meeting the cuddly TV stars, to the tricky puzzle rally and the skill stations – experience an eventful day for the whole family with free admission! Don’t have time on 24 July? No problem: “Kodok’s Technikwelt” at the Hochalm is open daily in summer 2026 – and once a week there is an autograph session with Montelino and Kodok - the heroes from Saalbach Hinterglemm.
Football, BBQ and relaxation – the recipe for a good summer!
The hotels in Saalbach Hinterglemm also organise plenty of summer events. Cheer along together at the public viewing of the 2026 Football World Cup, power yourselves out together during workouts, celebrate at open-air concerts with free admission and enjoy shared barbecue evenings, wild herb hikes and yoga sessions.
