Top-class races and emotional victories

The marathon highlight on Saturday delivered gripping contests across all five distances. The royal discipline over 80 kilometers and 3,720 vertical meters demanded everything from the athletes – here, Sarah Marquardt and Aaron Wilhelmi claimed the prestigious overall victories. Also highly competitive was the Marathon 58 with 3,005 vertical meters, where Barbara D Introno and Tobias Kirchberger came out on top. On the 42-kilometer course with 2,040 vertical meters, Bianca Somavilla and Noah Laschewski triumphed. A special highlight this year was the return of the popular 31-kilometer distance with 967 vertical meters – victories went to Nina Gunther and Lorenz Pfleger. The shortest race, the Marathon 21 with 780 vertical meters, was dominated by Sandra Pink and Timo Brandl.

E-Marathon and Junior Trophy as crowd favorites

The E-Bike Marathon over 42 kilometers and 1,700 vertical meters once again enjoyed great popularity. In this category, Laura Gruber and Josef Feuerstein triumphed with impressive times.
On Sunday, the spotlight belonged to the youngest talents at the Junior Trophy. Numerous kids up to the age of 13 mastered their races on the circuit in six age categories and were cheered on enthusiastically by the crowd.
