The World Cup finals kicked off on the first weekend with the women's and men's giant slalom and slalom. This was followed on the second weekend by the men's and women's super-G and the women's downhill. Due to the difficult weather conditions caused by the fresh snow, the men's downhill on Sunday unfortunately had to be cancelled. Nevertheless, the winners of the overall World Cup rankings were celebrated on the last day of the finals, centred around this year's dominator Marco Odermatt.

The Austrians centred around Cornelia Hütter also had reason to celebrate. The speed specialist not only won the downhill on Saturday, but also her first small crystal globe after a thrilling race. With Manuel Feller's triumph in the slalom, two small crystal globes ultimately went to the Austrian team.

"All in all, it was a fantastic World Cup final! Together with the organising committee, we as Ski Austria have shown that we can do a great job. The atmosphere was excellent, there were many great moments and the athletes were clearly delighted with the audience. The emotional highlight for me was definitely Conny's victory on Saturday!" said a delighted Roswitha Stadlober, President of the ÖSV.

Numerous visitors also attended the bib draws in the centre of Hinterglemm on both weekends. Afterwards, there was plenty of partying at the Ö3 World Cup parties, and a performance by the Pinzgau pop singer Julia Buchner brought numerous fans to the stage.

For the organising committee of the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Saalbach 2025, the dress rehearsal from 16 to 24 March provided insightful impressions for next year's major event.
