Austria’s largest bike region connects the sprawling mountain bike area of Saalbach Hinterglemm with the Epic Bikepark Leogang and the Bike Area in Fieberbrunn. The result: an incomparable variety of trails with more than 105 kilometers of lines & trails that cater to any skill level and a unique network of mountain and gravel bike routes that stretches across two of Austria’s states.

There is always plenty to do in between seasons and 2025 is no different as Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn has once again been hard at work to create new trails and further improve the infrastructure. Here’s the latest news from Austria’s largest bike region:
New “12er Sky-Line” in Saalbach Hinterglemm - a trail for connoisseurs:
From 2025, the 12er Sky-Line in Saalbach Hinterglemm offers a real highlight for anyone looking for a flowing descent with breathtaking views. The 6. 5 kilometre long trail starts in the upper section of the Zwölferkogel, one of the most beautiful panoramic points in the region. Here, riders are treated to a spectacular view of the Kitzbühel Alps and the Glemmtal valley. The trail is perfect for anyone looking for a relaxed yet sporty riding experience. Flowing berms, small jumps and well-designed turns make this trail an unforgettable experience.
New “Thurner-Line” in Saalbach Hinterglemm - versatility for all riding levels:
The Thurner-Line brings even more variety to the trails in Saalbach Hinterglemm in 2025. The 2.1 km long trail starts with a tricky root passage that is immediately challenging and gives you a good feel for the route. The route then leads through a dense forest with natural obstacles and varied turns. There are jumps along the route that are suitable for both advanced riders and beginners. The route continues towards Schönleiten, accompanied by wonderful views. The way back to the valley station awaits with flowing turns and smaller waves. The Thurner-Line combines technical passages and flowing sections, offering a varied experience for all bikers.
New “Streuböden Line” in Fieberbrunn:
From summer 2025, the trail offer in Fieberbrunn will be expanded to include the Streuböden Line. The flow trail in blue difficulty level starts at the middle station and offers new challenges with various features over a length of around 3 km. Northshores, waves, steep turns and rollable jumps connect the middle station with the two other existing trails and promise an exciting ride for all ability levels to the valley station of the new Streuböden cable car, which will transport you to the trail entrance even faster and more comfortably in 2025. Long waiting times, changing and standing cable cars are a thing of the past thanks to the new cable car. Equipped with large panoramic windows, 10-seater cabins with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains will take you non-stop to the top. The new cable car also leaves nothing to be desired in terms of accessibility and offers sufficient space for bikes, pushchairs and wheelchairs.
Four new lines for freeriders in Leogang:
Freeriders and trail lovers can look forward to some exciting new features at EPIC Bikepark Leogang. One of the most exciting additions is the new red ‘T-LINE’, which connects Vali's Hölle with the Bongo Bongo. The line starts above the Flying Gangster or Speedster and ends after 1.3 kilometres at the Riders Playground at the Asitz valley station. This new red line promises pure trail fun and is a real challenge for freeriders.
New blue line and black single trail in the Steinberg area in Leogang:
From summer 2025, there will be a new blue line at the Bikepark Leogang with the fitting name ‘GATE-WAY’, which connects the middle station of the Steinbergbahn cable car with the popular Steinberg Line by Fox. The route runs for 600 metres over wooden walkways and through beautiful scenic sections. It is perfect for beginners and offers a great introduction to the bike park. Those who like things a little more challenging will enjoy the new black single trail that stretches along the Steinberg Line by Fox. Over 1.3 kilometres, a natural trail with the name ‘BACK TO THE ROOTS’, chosen by the social community, awaits bikers with technical challenges.
Hangman I - even more variety for downhill fans in Leogang:
The popular Hangman I will be upgraded in 2025 with new trail variants in black and red. This will provide even more variety and exciting rides in the EPIC Bikepark Leogang. The additional variants offer new challenges for anyone who wants to improve their skills. The black variant has earned the name ‘HANGOVER’, which was also the result of a vote on Instagram.
Ladies Shred at the EPIC Bikepark Leogang:
Mountainbiking is no longer just for men - more and more women are conquering the trails with style, courage and passion. But often the final push is missing to feel really confident and strong on the bike.
